In 2009, I attained my B.S. in Family and Consumer Sciences Education from Colorado State University. I then spent 5 years teaching a variety of FACS courses at Lakewood High School. In the Fall of 2014, I made the leap to join the wonderful learning community here at Monarch High School. I recently completed a M.A. in Educational Psychology from the University of Northern Colorado. In addition to my teaching responsibilities, I am an Advisor for the student organization Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) and I am also the current President-Elect of the Colorado Association of Teachers of Family and Consumer Sciences (CATFACS).
