BILINGUAL COMMUNITY LIAISON
The Monarch High School Community Liaison supports students, teachers, and families in a variety of ways including:

Helping connect families with appropriate resources at school and in the community

Helping students at school create peer connects

Conduct outreach to a caseload of truant students on a daily basis

Assist in getting transport for students to school

Monitor student attendance
-
Advocating for dropout prevention and intervention. This role contributes to the district’s goal of reducing dropout rates, increasing graduation rates, and improving student attendance and achievement.

Aiding communication between the school, teachers, and parents
-
Translating report cards, newsletters, announcements, parent/teacher conference
-
An active member of our Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) Team
